jonathanvasta: I just watched a remarkable and insightful documentary in titled ”the Amish” featured on P.B.S.’s “American Experience”. it is a very revealing look into their way of living.for anyone who is interested you can watch the film in full here: http://video.pbs.org/video/2200745636/ this was a GREAT documentary. I think I already mentioned it but didn’t have a link (I watch things on cable and generally do not keep tabs on where to watch things online)  apologies to non-Americans who may not be able to view it in their country
